The Soco Studio is Austin TX's supplier of the most energy efficient and environmentally sensitive building products on the planet. Through a close partnership with our suppliers, we help our clients to understand the benefits of energy efficient and environmentally sensitive windows and doors.
What we are Trying to Do
The Soco Studio was founded on the premise that not enough is being done in the Austin market to reduce the carbon imprint of construction. The built environment is responsible for 52% of greenhouse gas emissions worldwide, including building operations and materials manufacturing. Disruptive new building materials must do one of two things:
1.significantly reduce the energy costs of a building during its lifetime; and
2.use little to no net energy in their manufacture.
Every product carried by The Soco Studio makes significant progress towards these goals. In addition, The Soco Studio is working to contribute towards Austin's national leadership in building standards and green construction.
